which has made possible the design of a
completely novel and radically different type of nuclear fusion reactor, one
which could not, prior to these advances, even have been predicted with the
present state of knowledge in science.
Now please don't jump to conclusions and
think that we have already built an operating prototype of the SKYBOLTTM reactor and are offering them for sale. We haven't
and we are not. However, although we have not yet built a working prototype,
the physical experimental proof now exists which demonstrates that the
operating principles upon which the SKYBOLTTM design is founded represents a major breakthrough in
modern physics and will lead to
the successful construction of the world's first operating nuclear fusion
reactor.
Our SKYBOLTTM (Singularity
KatalYsiert {German spelling of English "Catalyzed"} Beam Output Low
Temperature) reactor is designed be a safe, portable, clean,
"low temperature", nuclear fusion reactor that promises to be more
efficient than any known power source devised since the beginning of history. Don't
let the word "nuclear" alarm you. "Nuclear" only
refers to the processes that occur within the nucleus of an atom. If modern
science had heretofore truly understood how to safely tap and utilize the tremendous potential locked
within the atom, then we would never have had such unfortunate events as
Three-mile Island or Chernobyl. Because of events such as those, the word
"nuclear" has
taken on a dangerous and threatening connotation in the mind of the general
public. It is time that the public be made aware of a new type of nuclear
energy ----- one that is free of radiation hazards.
The SKYBOLTTM design is a
scalable design which means that it can be constructed very small
(backpack-able) or fairly large whose output could be used to power a small city
or large factory. Its scalability permits it to be used as the electrical power
source of a home so that the cost per kilowatt hour to the consumer would be
about 1/800th of normal rates through power companies. Its portable design
makes it ideal for use in electric vehicles, from cars, trucks, and trains to
ships and airplanes. Its fuel, an isotope of hydrogen, is inexpensive, nonradioactive,
and abundantly available. The designed output of the reactor is electricity,
helium gas and several light metals which will be safely plated inside the
reactor.
Virtually all attempts at harnessing nuclear
fusion which have been esteemed by mainstream science to have a chance at
success have been aimed at raising the temperature of the interacting nuclei
with the pointed goal of accomplishing fusion by the brute force of colliding
interacting fusion fuel nuclei into one another. Fifty years of effort by
thousands of scientists at a conservatively estimated expense of forty to fifty
billion dollars without any real success has shown the utter poverty of these
ideas and approaches. Time for a change, don't you think?
Sincerely Yours,
